Simple notes on what 18 Words stores and why. The official home is 18words.com. The daily puzzle is hosted on PZL Games.

Game progress on your device

Your scores, streak, and in-progress games are saved in your browser (local storage) so you can come back later. That data stays on your device unless you clear your browser storage.

Moving to PZL Games

When you tap Play now, 18words.com can send your streak, games played, average, and daily scores to PZL Games so your stats continue there. Play on PZL Games is covered by that site’s own privacy policy.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to understand how people use the game, like which pages are visited and basic device info. This helps fix bugs and improve the puzzle. Google may process this data under its own privacy policy.

Feedback emails

If you send feedback and include an email address, that message is used only to read and reply to your note. It isn’t sold or used for marketing lists.

Optional stats

Some score comparison features may send anonymous puzzle results to the 18 Words server so percentiles can be shown. These aren’t used to identify you personally.
